Isle of Dogs director joins Passion Animation

Mark Waring, the animation director behind Wes Anderson’s latest film, Isle of Dogs, has signed to Passion Animation Studios’ roster.

Waring has an unrivalled handle on stop frame animation, having also recently completed MoneySuperMarket’s Epic Action Man. He has also directed commercials and shorts for the likes of McDonalds, Disney and Nike; even scooping up a Gold British Arrow for his Animation Direction work on John Saunders’ The Last Game short for Nike. Waring has also worked on various stop-frame animation features, including Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and Frankenweenie and Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox.
