Biscuit signs director & hires EP
Director Joaquin Baca-Asay joins roster and Jeff McDougall joins as EP.
LA-based production company Biscuit has welcomed award-winning director Joaquin Baca-Asay to its directorial roster for US and UK representation, while Jeff McDougall has joined the Los Angeles office as Executive Producer.
Director and cinematographer Baca-Asay is best known for his elegant realism. Previously signed to MJZ, he has directed campaigns for worldwide brands such as Nike, Apple, the NFL and Volvo among others, receiving accolades from Cannes Lions, Clios, AICP, The One Show, and a DGA nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Commercials. He began his career as a cinematographer, working on a range of projects including the Oscar-nominated short film The Lady in Waiting - which he shot while he was a student - Jay-Z’s 99 Problems music video and comedy, Super Troopers.
Jeff McDougall was previously working as an EP Reset, which he helped to launch in 2012 alongside its founders. Before this, he was a successful freelance producer working with the following directors including Stacy Wall, Tom Kuntz, Jonathan Glazer and more. McDougall has worked on campaigns for clients including Adidas, Apple, Honda, Nike, Samsung, Under Armour, Mercedes and FedEx.
