Production company Hey Wonderful has hired TJ O’Grady-Peyton [right] as a director and Earl McDaniel [left] as executive producer and head of production.
Filmmaker O'Grady-Peyton has joined Hey Wonderful for commercial respresentation in the U.S. and is represented by Ridley Scott Creative Group's Darling Films in the UK. He has directed an array of work including a campaign for Asics, Footballers for Gatorade, and BMW’s portrait of paralympian Josh George. His work has drawn attention at Cannes YDA and been honored with a Webby and German ADC Award. This year he earned an IFTA/Irish Film & Television Award and a Discovery Award at the Dublin International Film Festival.
“Having the opportunity to pitch on projects that are varied and unique and a good fit for me, and which allow me to experiment a little so I never get too pigeonholed would be ... Wonderful,” said O’Grady-Peyton.
McDaniel will oversee international and domestic productions, and hires and manages production teams, vendors and production services on all aspects of projects. He was most recently head of production at Pretty Bird, and prior to that he worked at Propaganda Films.
