After seven years at BBDO, Elkaim is to join the executive committee of Ogilvy Paris.
He will work alongside president Natalie Rastoin, Benoit de Fleurian (head of behavioural science, Ogilvy Consulting), Emmanuel Ferry (MD/head of branding & advertising), Pierre-Hubert Meilhac (managing director / head of PR & influence) Serge Biscard (MD / head of engagement & performance marketing), Guillaume de la Fléchère (MD of Neo and head of media & distribution), Gilles Bordure (chief operations officer) and Anne Leperre (talent & HR director).
Elkaim began his career at TBWA before joining DDB and; most recently was at BBDO as creative director and then as chief creative officer of the group. He's bagged more than a hundred awards (Cannes Lions, Eurobest, One Show, D&AD, Art Directors Club, Grand Prix Strategies, FWA, Webby) – in categories across film, print, promo, cyber, direct, outdoor, PR – for brands such as Volkswagen, Playstation, Nike and Mercedes-Benz.
Natalie Rastroin welcomed him saying: “Matthieu will have a key role at the agency at a time when creativity extends to advertising, PR and influence, UX, social, content. ”
