Alex Gargot joins Friend
Director Alex Gargot joins the team at Friend for music video representation.

London based Friend announce that Spanish director Alex Gargot has joined the London-based production company for music video representation.
Best known for his VFX-heavy and narrative-led work, Gargot is an UKMVA winner: his music video for Cora Novoa’s State of Mind won him the award for Best Dance Video Newcomer at the UKMVAs in 2019, as well as a Best Music Video at The Soundie Awards in Barcelona.
In 2020 his video for María José Llergo's A través de ti won Best International Video at the BAMVF awards, whilst also receiving his second UKMVA nomination.
This year, he picked up his third nomination at the UKMVAs, gaining a Best VFX in a Video nod at the UKMVAs 2020 for his video for Fuel Fandago's Mi Huella. He also garnered a Best Director nomination at this year's Ciclope Awards.
Gargot is the first addition to Friend's music video directors' roster since Danny Herman assumed the role of Head of Music at the company last month.
