Converse goes lo-fi in a totally unique shoot, captured by the deft hand of Colin Read

Sea Cow and Pulse Films have collaborated to produce an exceptionally stunning piece of film craft. With some backyard handiwork and a lot of careful camera wiring, Time Web is a strangely evocative piece that does a lot with just a few key ideas. 

The ad was shot on a custom-built 21-foot looping pinhole camera rig with 104 cameras, on 35mm, Super 16mm, hand-cranked 35mm, and a lenticular 35mm camera. Read directed the skaters as they did a kickflip in the center of this rig in a lightproof pitch-black studio, where the images in the Time Web were captured on a single strip of film, exposed simultaneously using powerful strobes. A BTS film is below.
