Cristal Beer celebrates its 100th anniversary
Cristal Beer and VMLY&R Peru created a collection of 100 NFTs to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
Cristal, Peru’s most beloved beer, celebrated its 100th anniversary, a huge milestone for the brand, which has accompanied the most important and representative moments in Peruvian history since 1922.
To celebrate this major event, VMLY&R Peru and Cristal Beer, part of AB InBev, created a campaign that not only embodied its relevance and participation in this century, but also looked to position itself as a current brand in an innovative, avant-garde territory. Thus, they decided to create a collection of 100 unique NFTs, where each one represents a memorable historical moment for Peruvians.

The designs of the different NFTs vary depending on the period, and they are all unified by their iconic bottle tops, which have managed to safeguard the flavour that all Peruvians have preferred during the brand’s 100 years of existence.
Not only were these NFTs appealing thanks to their unique designs, but each NFT also offered special benefits such as free tickets to concerts and other events, free beers, and more. We even took advantage of Bad Bunny’s concert to launch the full collection, and the result was a great surprise to the brand: the NFTs sold out within a few hours, achieving audience peaks across all of the brand’s platforms, and demonstrating that a lot can change in 100 years, but not the flavour that brings all Peruvians together.
