Chicago-based editorial house Cutters has added Editor Matt Walsh.  He comes to the Cutters team as an Editor/Partner.

Walsh joins Cutters from the Whitehouse. "This wasn't a decision I took lightly," Walsh says.  "After 11 great years, I felt it was the right time to make a move. I witnessed a surge of momentum at Cutters and I knew I couldn't go wrong."

"I've been following Matt's rising career for quite a while and after we had the opportunity to sit down and talk I immediately knew that he was a guy we had to have," says Cutters CEO Tim McGuire.

Walsh enjoys tackling big comedy and docu-reality/unscripted campaigns.  Some of the campaigns he's best known for include Bank of America, McDonald's, Kellogg's, Bud Light, State Farm, Capital One, Advil, Sonic, Office Max, Greenpeace, Kraft and Wheat Thins.

"I love the most over the top comedy I can get my hands on," Walsh says about his work. "I also like real people stuff. There is nothing more delightful than working with a real reaction to something crazy or surprising."
