Creative agency TBWA\NEBOKO and production house CZAR Amsterdam joined forces to develop a campaign for ESPN.
Directed by Bart Timmer, the commercial opens on Mario Been, Kenneth Pérez, and Jan-Joost van Gangelen in the ESPN studio as they engage in a lively debate that every football fan can instantly relate to: "To Shoot or to Pass the Ball?"
Featuring cameos from (former) Dutch footballers Michiel Kramer, Royston Drenthe and ESPN presenters Marciano Vink and Fresia Cousiño Arias, the commercial is a delightful portrayal of the sheer passion that football fans have for the game, presented in an entirely original and entertaining way.
Bart Timmer, celebrated for his directorial prowess in comedy, orchestrates the perfect formula of comedic timing in this production. His expertise shines through, making this ESPN commercial an exemplary showcase of comedy with impeccable precision
