Even though "Dr. Jane Goodall and Rebel Wilson go into a forest" sounds like the start of an entertaining joke, this new spot from HP is far from a laughing matter.
Ahead of the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day (April 29) this Friday, the brand has enlisted the primatologist to share the Plant a Tree with HP project that aims to plant one million trees throughout this year, with the eventual goal of one trillion trees by 2030.
Knowing that the draw here is hearing Goodall impart her wisdom, agency Edelman wisely chooses to make her the focus of the spot, with Wilson's comedic interjections hinting at a warm interaction between the two.
