DUCK Gets Mental with Meindbender
The L.A.-based animation house DUCK Studios now represents the Swedish animation studio Meindbender in the US.
DUCK Makes Meindbending Signing

DUCK, the L.A.-based animation studio, has added to its roster of animation talents with the signing of Swedish animation studio Meindbender for commercial representation in the US, forming Meindbender@DUCK. The studio, whose recent work is highlighted by an imaginative campaign for Cartoon Network, focuses on storytelling, character design and the expression of humor and emotion through animation.
Meindbender@DUCK is a continually evolving company of artists, writers and character designers that was founded in Goteborg in 2006. Its work includes spots and broadcast IDs for a range of clients. Among its awards are numerous Gold and Silver winners at both the Promax Europe Awards and the Promax World Awards. Among its most recent projects is a humorous broadcast ID for Cartoon Network that features the studio's use of oddly-shaped characters. (Screen it here.)
"It's clear from every piece Meindbender puts out that they are passionate about their work," says DUCK Executive Producer Mark Medernach. "Their style adds a special dimension to what is already a very deep roster at DUCK. While we look forward to helping them grow in the US, it's hard to overstate the importance to us of establishing a strong presence in Western Europe."
