Wilfrid Park Lands Roderick Fenske, Mark Toia and Brian Klein

The Toronto-based production company Wilfrid Park has announced the addition of three directors to its roster for Canadian representation. The three are Roderick Fenske, Mark Toia and Brian Klein.
Fenske is a comedy director whose work often reflects a mix of the surreal and the absurd. He got his start behind the camera while still on the agency side at TBWA in London, where he directed both commercials and music videos. He then moved to Stockholm, where he directed full time for brands such as Honda, Coca Cola and Skittles, among many others. After 10 years working in Europe he relocated to L.A. Says Wilfrid Park EP Angie Colgoni, "Roderick's blend of Monty Python-style surrealism and American post modernism is uniquely suited to the Canadian market."

Originating from a successful career as a still photographer, Toia was coaxed into directing TVCs by his clients. A globe-trotting talent, he's worked around the world, shooting extensively in Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Europe and the States. An expert at action cinematography, his work runs the gamut of categories, with a strong representation in the automotive sector. With his photographer's background, Toia's work is always visually driven. And working as much as he has in developing countries has made him adept at working with a lean crew.
Klein's work as a director has transformed both food and cars. He was the co-creator of UK celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's first TV series, "Oliver's Twist." Klein first worked with cars when he teamed up with Jeremy Clarkson, still the UK's top motoring journalist, to produce and direct his DVD series. He was subsequently asked in 2003 to direct "Top Gear" for BBC2, presented by Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. The show went on to revolutionize studio shows seen on networks around the world. The experience also gave Klein a deep knowledge of the best places to shoot cars in all kinds of situations and in all kinds of terrain. His work has taken him all over the world, directing and producing DVDs and other long-form content.
