Get a Glimpse with Lauren Midwinter
Rattling Stuff director Lauren Midwinter’s crafts new charity film Glimpses.
To show support and solidarity during The Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Action Week Hounslow Council worked with Hounslow-based not-for-profit Capture Minds and commissioned Glimpses.
The film is a four-minute journey through the life of a local mother and her adult son as they navigate the devastation of her Dementia diagnosis. The film was directed by Lauren Midwinter, produced by Josh Hillman and written by Sufiyaan Salam.
Glimpses was made with an extremely challenging, publicly-funded budget, no production company or agency; just the director Lauren Midwinter and her producer.

Hounslow Council’s Cabinet Member for Adults and Health Integration, Councillor Samia Chaudhary, said: “We are extremely proud to be showcasing this unique film which captures the reality of life with dementia in our borough during Dementia Action Week.
