Cranbrook-trained Director Paul Schneider signs on, bringing a design-oriented background to his work in commercials and ad content.
Hello! Signs Paul Schneider to Directorial Roster

Director Paul Schneider has joined Hello! in L.A. for representation for TV commercials and other advertising work. He got his start as an art director at Ross Roy Advertising in Bloomfield Hills, MI (now part of BBDO). He received an undergraduate degree at the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit and an MFA at the renowned Cranbrook School. He's also taught at design schools in Europe and at Art Center in Pasadena. He also worked with designers Scott and Laurie Makela at the WPBC Design Studio, where they developed creative work for clients such as MTV, Propaganda Films, David Fincher and Nike.
In Los Angeles, Schneider was responsible for co-creating, WIDEOPENSPACES, a multidisciplinary design studio in the heart of downtown where he created design solutions for some clients such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Rossignol, Toyota and CBS. He then moved to Chicago to lead Digital Kitchen, where he spent five years as Executive Creative Director. While there with major clients including HBO, FX, ABC, Time Warner, Nike, GM, Anheuser-Busch, Revolution Films, McDonald's, Microsoft Xbox, Target and Showtime's "Nip/Tuck," the for which he earned an Emmy nomination.
Schneider moved into directing full time and has spent the last few years working bi-coastally and internationally with Crossroads Films and more recently AVSO (A Very Small Office) in New York. He's represented in Canada by Radke Films.
