Job, Joris and Marieke join Troublemakers

Paris based The Troublemakers have added a new directing trio composed of Job Roggeveen, Joris Oprins and Marieke Blaauw.
They graduated as product designers at the Design Academy Eindhoven. During their studies they discovered they had a passion for telling stories and composing music. In turn, animation ended up to being the best medium for them. It’s the perfect combination of storytelling, designing and composing.
Their second short A Single Life was nominated for an Academy Award under best animated short in 2015.
Since then, they have focused solely on making short films, commercials, music videos and animated series.
The Troublemakers films and music videos have won over 75 awards and were screened at more than 300 film festivals worldwide.
