Knucklehead is excited to announce the US signing of director Charlotte Regan, marking her representation on both sides of the pond. She will be joining Knucklehead’s US roster in addition to her current spot on the UK lineup.

24-year-old Charlotte has had a busy year. This year alone, she’s picked up a D&AD Young Blood pencil and a Cannes Lion YDA, was selected for The One Club’s prestigious Young Guns 16, was showcased at the Flux Screening at the Hammer Museum LA and won our very own shots’s New Director of the Year

“Clearly, she’s a force,” says Knucklehead’s US EP, Cathleen Kisich. “We’re psyched to have her and she’s certainly going to give people a run for their money.”

A young filmmaker from North London, Charlotte grew up making creative, low and no budget music promos for local rappers, creating over 200 to date from the time she was 15. Her first short film Standby, a comedy about friendship and routines set entirely in a police patrol car, premiered at TIFF and went on to be nominated for a BAFTA.

Charlotte’s second short Fry-Up, screened at Sundance, BFI LFF, and Berlinale, where it was nominated for a Crystal Bear in its category.

Charlotte went on to create the short film Dodgy Dave starring Neil Maskell, which was this year selected for BFI LFF and TIFF, and the BFI funded short film Drug Runner. Most recently Charlotte completed Little Monster, commissioned as part of Channel4’s Random Acts strand, the charity film Diverted for the National Autistic Society, and critically- lauded music videos for the Wretch 32 and Wilkinson.

Charlotte is also a Sundance Ignite Fellow and a BFI Future Film and New Talent award winner.

Charlotte has been with Knucklehead UK since March of 2018
