Mads Langer Music Video "All The Times, Sometimes" From New Land
Spot directed by Jeppe Kolstrup.
The video is about love, a simple film about the complexity of love. Love when it blossoms. Love when it tickles.
Love when it’s fury. Love when it hurts. Love when it ends."All The Time, Sometimes" also points how we sometimes forget to be present in life and that we are under the influence of the social media! The track has been written by the artist Mads Langer in collaboration with American Evan Bogart, who has written Beyonce's evergreen "Halo" and is behind huge hits for artists like Madonna, Rihanna and many more. Throughout the past years, the two songwriters have developed a close collaboration and "All The Time, Sometimes" is a result of this.
Mads Langer has spent a great deal of time in Los Angeles for the last 10 years, which he has gained much of inspiration from. "To me, being in LA is a form of education. Both as a human as well as musically. I have gradually built a network of incredibly skilled and inspiring people, who I learn a whole lot of each time we meet and write songs together. One of the very big meetings for me has been Evan Bogart. He comes from a background with Rap, and to me, it's incredibly interesting, purely lyrical when my more pictorial text universe meets Evan's very direct and urban approach. He is a huge capacity and I appreciate our cooperation." Mads Langer says.
"All The Time, Sometimes" is about how we sometimes forget to be present in life. We are under the influence of the social media, sometimes I wake up and think. Hey, why the heck are we not more social and talking face2face instead of communicating through our smartphones. I am very often on the move, it is worth its price, but very often I'm far away from home and dreaming home. I do not know how many birthdays and family celebrations, etc. I've missed because I'm out and sing my songs to the people. And that's part of the package, but once in a while, it's a little lonely to sit in a hotel room after a concert and watch your phone on Instagram and see how one's boyfriend, girlfriend, friends or family are together at home. This blends in the song as well.
