On Saturday June 29th, public service provider, Dublin Bus, celebrated the people who made Pride in Dublin possible, the older LGBTQ+ generations, with a new activation, The Long Road to Pride

Directed by Ken Wardrop for Antidote Films and working with creative agency ROTHCO, part of Accenture Interactive, Dublin Bus decided to bring together people, young and old, from the LGBTQ+ community to create a more inclusive Pride.

ROTCHO’s campaign shows the coming together of the youth with people over 65 years of age along with their desire to include them in their long time earned, parade celebration. Together, Dublin Bus and ROTHCO noticed that the demographic of older LGBTQ+ generations was fewer than 1% of Pride attendees in Ireland in 2018. 

ROTHCO and the Dublin Bus bring all ages of LGBTQ+ people together to celebrate their love boldly at an all age inclusive Dublin Pride; a celebration they helped lay the foundations to.
