NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 18, 2008 – Lost Planet announced today the Company recently tapped Alec Sash as executive producer for Lost Planet’s New York office.

“My goal is to build on Lost Planet’s level of creativity, and continue the Company’s heritage working with the industry’s top directors and agency creatives.  Another objective will be to search out and work on inspiring projects from commercials, films, or any other format - wherever the creativity is best!” commented Sash.

A renowned freelance line producer, Sash has traveled globally for shoots from Thailand to Europe to South America.  Over the years he routinely produced high profile projects with @radical.media directors including Antony Hoffman, Gregor Nicholas, and Derek Cianfrance.  He worked on several projects directed by the Glue Society including an ESPN Fantasy Football campaign starring Reggie Bush and Shaun Alexander, EA Sports with Tiger Woods, a Virgin Mobile campaign (which debuted at the 2006 MTV VMA Awards on a Times Square jumbotron) and a Steinlager Beer spot starring Harvey Keitel. His most recent work was on a Target campaign lensed by director Marcus Tomlinson.

Other Sash-produced projects include GAP’s ‘Feeling Groovy,’ (directed by Mikael Jansson) and the famous DKNY ‘New York Stories’ short film (lensed by Steven Sebring).  In addition to many commercial projects, Sash also collaborated with Crossroads Films director Bruce Hurwit on ‘Split the Difference,’ a pilot which won 1st place at the NYTV Festival in 2006.  Sash has also worked on several projects with Nola Pictures director, Juan Delcan.

In addition to TV commercials and film, Sash served as a producer for high profile print campaigns collaborating with seasoned photographers like Peter Lindbergh, Raphael Mazzucco, Perry Ogden, Norman Jean Roy and Gianpaolo Barbieri.  Notable pieces from the print world include the 2002 Pirelli Calendar, Victoria Secret’s Sexy Book and British GQ’s 25 Years of Armani featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mark Wahlberg, Andy Garcia, Giovanni Ribisi, and Jeff Goldblum.
