Christmas is going to feel a little different this year, but Portal from Facebook shows us how we can stay connected and keep festive spirits high in their new holiday campaign, starring footy legend Ian Wright.
The series of films, directed by Benjamin Green through TBWA/London, show Wrighty and his family using Facebook Portal to video call each other during the Christmas break. With the help of Portal and its abundance of features, nothing can stop the Wrights getting together, at least virtually, to catch up and play Christmas games (or stop Ian from casually mentioning how many goals he scored during his illustrious career - including 11 hat-tricks!)
The campaign captures the authentic charisma of the Wright family who clearly, despite being unable to be together, feel together with Portal. It’s a way for us all to share time and have fun with our loved ones this Christmas, no matter the distance.
