Nice Shoes And Foundation Editorial Join Forces In Austin
The NYC-based studio Nice Shoes partners with the Austin-based full-service boutique Foundation Editorial.

Nice Shoes and Foundation Editorial have kicked off 2015 by partnering to bring the NYC-based studio’s talented roster of colorists to Austin-area clients via Nice Shoes’ proprietary Remote Viewing technology.
Established by Jason Uson in 2012, Foundation Editorial is a full service boutique offering that has crafted content for Nike, Walgreens, Zales, and LPGA. Nice Shoes and Foundation Editorial first connected on a project for non-profit A Better Chance, which Uson directed and edited, that was graded by Nice Shoes colorist Lenny Mastrandrea. After this successful collaboration, they decided to partner on a more permanent basis by installing Nice Shoes’ remote setup.
“It’s fantastic to be entering the Austin market with Foundation,” added Nice Shoes CEO/President Dominic Pandolfino. “I really respect what Jason has built. The studio is in the heart of such a creative city, and he’s put together a wonderful space with first-class service.”
Nice Shoes Remote Viewing allows clients to collaborate with artists in New York in real-time, with no delay between New York and Austin. Nice Shoes engineers install a secure HD feed and a display calibrated to match exactly with the monitors in New York. Clients can work with New York-based colorists Gene Curley, Chris Ryan, Sal Malfitano, Lenny Mastrandrea and Lez Rudge; as well as Ron Sudul and Oscar Oboza, who are stationed at satellite offices in Chicago and Minneapolis, respectively.
“Our local film and advertising community has an amazing new resource in Nice Shoes,” added Uson. “I'm proud to offer our clients real time access to New York's premier colorists without leaving Austin, and to forge a partnership with a team that shares our vision of quality, artistry and client service."
