As a piece of art made entirely of sugar hangs suspended around a bottle of Rémy Martin, we pour one out for 2020.
Developed by FRED & FARID, this massive art installation was made by a traditional Chinese sugar painting Master, Yajun Sui, and a Multimedia Artist, Elisabeth Hodes. A visually stunning celebration of tea culture and spirits, the behind-the-scenes film goes into the incredible patience and artistry it took to create the finished product.
Sui and Hodes teamed up to create the 65 detailed pieces that were used to build this masterpiece, spending over 100 hours and using over 20 pounds of sugar to commemorate the beginning of the year of the Ox.
