PinkPantheress goes on a shopping spree in Mosquito
PRETTYBIRD’s Sophie Muller directs PinkPantheress in Mosquito.
PRETTYBIRD Director Sophie Muller has lensed the new Mosquito music video for multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, and producer PinkPantheress.
Written and Produced by PinkPantheress alongside Greg Kurstin (Adele, Lily Allen) Mosquito shows a different side to the musician. The track sees PinkPantheress embark upon a slight stylistic shift as she takes her customary opulent vocals layered over a drum and bass beat and fuses them with a colourful noughties R&B aesthetic.
Directed by BRIT and Grammy Award-winning Sophie Muller (Sade, Gwen Stefani, Blur), the music video sees PinkPantheress immerse herself in London’s lavish shopping culture, spending money and time with her friends as she contemplates her desires.

Alongside Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton), India Amarteifio (Queen Charlotte), and Yara Shahidi (black-ish), PinkPantheress explores some of London’s most renowned shopping locations such as New Bond Street, Tiffany, Fendi, Liberty, Royal Arcade.
The music video is a throwback to 00s music videos whilst also paying homage to a staple trope in romcoms, the obligatory shopping spree and makeover montage.
Speaking on the track, PinkPantheress states: “After a long wait my favourite song is coming out to the public, I’m so excited for you guys to hear something different from me in form of this song.”
