Director Stan Schofield of New York-based Schofield Films is premiering his new independent feature film, “Parting Words” at Chicago’s AMC Theaters – River East 21 on Thursday evening June 12th.  This “by invitation only” event has become the go to event in Chicago in the month of June and promises to be a much talked about cinema experience even without a red carpet.  The film, “a comedy about dying” was shot entirely on HD24P employing two cameras over a six week shooting schedule entirely on the streets of Hoboken, New Jersey.  “Parting Words” observes the story of three couples and their reaction to an unexpected request from a female friend of the three men.  Unlike most films produced under the 'indie' banner, “Parting Words” features an extensive ensemble cast of actors including such notable performers as Elizabeth Regen, Joe Narciso, John Tormey and Michael Cullen amongst others.

The screenplay for “Parting Words” was written by industry veteran and creative director Ned Crowley (McGarry Bowen/Chicago)  Ned’s contribution combined with Stan’s continued “in demand” status as a commercial director of actors and emotional storytelling means that many notable agency personnel will be in attendance.
