Herman Brings his Dutch Know How to the U.S.

Behind the sweater is Dutch-born director Jonathan Herman.

International director Jonathan Herman has signed with Rattling Stick for U.S. representation.

His longtime collaboration with the Dutch beer brand Bavaria has produced several spots with celebrities such as Mickey Rourke, Hugh Hefner, and most recently Charlie Sheen.

British born and Dutch raised, Herman made his mark directing various award-winning episodes of a Dutch TV series featuring a renowned theater group.  Herman then began establishing his reputation in the commercial world, working with major advertising agencies across Europe. 

His work has been recognized with several awards, including a Gold and Bronze Lion in Cannes for his Dutch Lottery and French sports paper l'Equipe spots.  He also garnered two Best Director awards, first at the Paris Hit d'Or Advertising Awards and then in Amsterdam at the Dutch Art Directors Club.
