Directed by Hugh Mulhern through Riff Raff Films the music video captures the essence of the new Fountaines D.C. track, ‘Jackie Down The Line’ - the first single released from their upcoming album.
“Sorry it’s not disco, we lied. It’s an album of terrible lows and even worse highs” state the band.
Shot in the beautiful yet haunting Catford Theatre, London, the film follows the mysterious figure of Jackie as he navigates the harsh conditions of a toxic relationship.
Safe to say ‘Jackie Down The Line’ is not your average love song, and Hugh’s vision for the doomed romance sees dedicated suitors in jaunty hats, with an abundant supply of roses, seduced by sirens inciting violence with entrancing movement.
