It's an impressive feat of animation to convey the emotional impact of love on the face of a non-human character, especially when said character is the eyeball-rich, expression-poor fizzog of a spider.
However, Leo Burnett Germany, directors Dorian & Daniel and, in particular, the wizards at The Mill have managed it in sweet tale, Love Has No Boundaries, for Samsung.
In it, tarantula protagonist Sam falls head over heels in love with... the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. More specifically, the camera lenses of the Galaxy S22 Ultra - the "most beautiful 'spider eyes' in the world".
Backed by Nazareth classic Love Hurts, the film's bizarre plot belies its genuinely touching heart, with a feel-good ending that will have arachnophiles wiping tears from their many, many eyes.
