Goal is to offer agencies a mixed media creative and production team for hybrid integrated projects.
Saville Signs Mixed Media Directing Collective
PostPanic for US Representation

Bicoastal US production house Saville Productions has signed leading European integrated digital design collective PostPanic for US representation. The Amsterdam-based studio has already had exposure in the States working with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, McCann-Erickson, Doner and AKQA, for whom they recently completed the Google AdWords 10th Anniversary Web Film.
"We want to expand our reach in the US, and felt Saville offered a great opportunity at this moment in time," says PostPanic Managing Partner Jules Tervoort.
PostPanic has become known largely for their work as mixed media specialists, producing projects that are creatively-driven and not primarily technique-led. "We choose to direct, design and animate ourselves, so our ambitious ideas stay true to our original vision once in production," says the group's Creative Director and Co-Founder, Mischa Rozema.
PostPanic is composed of artists who have emerged from leading studios. Among them is Chris Staves, himself a former partner and director at Psyop.
The international roster of directors of PostPanic share a common graphic design background and are very hands-on, often choosing to work on a certain aspect of the production such as motion graphics, animation or compositing. The collective has already created work for brands including Nike, Verizon, MTV, ASICS, Google, McDonald's, TomTom, Coca-Cola and Amstel.
Under the guidance of Rozema, PostPanic's artists encompass a wide range of aesthetic styles and technical expertise. This broad scope of sensibilities enables them to merge the worlds of broadcast and fine art while delivering a comprehensive perspective that spans every stage of visual production. Aside from directing his own projects, Staves also heads up the in-house VFX team alongside Ivor Goldberg, who heads PostPanic's 3D projects. Supporting the directors is a permanent team of creatives specializing in live action, motion graphics, 2D/3D animation, visual effects and print.
Rupert Maconick, Saville's Executive Producer, says he's delighted at the prospect of teaming up with PostPanic. "They have a distinctive visual style that's come about through a shared passion for live action, motion graphics, visual effects and 2D and 3D animation," he notes. "Partnering with PostPanic helps us achieve our goal of being able to offer agencies and their clients a more comprehensive solution to their hybrid integrated campaigns."
The PostPanic studio is housed in a new building overlooking the river in central Amsterdam, and has won attention worldwide for its unique interior architecture. This includes a green screen studio, edit suite and large grandstand for accommodating an audience for PostPanic events or screenings.
