Extreme Sports Directing Team Hooks up with Accomplice

Accomplice has a directorial signing of Sherpas Cinema -- a creative collective made up of Filmmakers Eric Crosland, Dave Mossop and Malcolm Sangster -- for representation in the commercial, advertising and branded content space.
Perfectly positioned for the commercial, advertising, and the re-burgeoning trend for branded content, the credit for signing the Sherpas goes to Accomplice Founder/EP Jeff Snyder. "When I first saw the work of Sherpas Cinema, I was of course blown away by the visuals," explains Snyder. "Your mouth literally drops open when you see the imagery in their film and other work, which led to amazing viral success. But the Sherpas are true storytellers and filmmakers. They have taken the action sports genre and visual imagery to an entirely new level. And they are well positioned to translate this very original, fresh talent to advertising-based projects of all kinds. Their work captures an authentic representation of youth culture today, which transcends action sports visuals. There truly are no limits in my view to the Sherpas' future success in the advertising arena."
Hitting the international action sports film scene with their 2011 release, feature film "All.I.Can.," Sherpas Cinema is a team of award-winning directors and cinematographers, specializing in leading-edge filmmaking techniques and inventive animation/graphic design.

With years of multi-faceted mountain experience, the Sherpas have specialized in action sports projects that feature some of the world's top athletes while showcasing an expertise in aerial photography and the use of advanced camera systems. The Sherpas began their careers shooting small films and videos about their first love, skiing. Dedicated to strong storytelling, the trio took their films and entered worldwide film festivals.
They came to the attention of such international brands as Black Diamond Equipment, The North Face, Clif Bar, and Universal Music Group; who are now long-time partners and collaborators with the Sherpas on numerous client-direct creative content projects and music videos.
Many of their projects include a mission for safety in skiing and action sports, after the life-altering experience as teenagers of losing four classmates in an avalanche.
Currently, the Sherpas are working on a series of creative content projects, including "Flyover Canada," an immersive virtual flight/ride aerial journey, which has taken them shooting to 25 of Canada's most idyllic settings. Other current projects have them traveling to extreme international locations such as Bolivia and the Himalayas. They are also shooting their next major snow film release, due out in Fall 2013. Their feature "All.I.Can," ranked first place in iTunes' "Sports Movies for 2011."
