shots Awards Asia Pacific 2021 round-up
With the winners of the 2021 shots Awards Asia Pacific now all announced, we round up what campaigns took home what, and which companies can expect a trophy delivery in the very near future.
Last week saw the best advertising campaigns from the Asia Pacific region garlanded at the inaugural shots Awards Asia Pacific, sponsored by 23/32 Film Services, Angel Films and Magic.
Across five short and sharp episodes, introduced by shots Co-Editors Jamie Madge and Danny Edwards, we announced winners across 14 different categories, plus another seven companies which were confirmed as the most successful across the week's event.
Companies which took home coveted '...of the Year' trophies included Scoundrel Australia, which was crowned Production Company of the Year, CHE Proximity Australia, which was named Agency of the Year, and Blockhead New Zealand, which was awarded VFX Company of the Year.
Scoundrel's Michael Spiccia was named Director of the Year, while ARC Edit's Johanna Scott took the gold trophy in the Editor of the Year category.

Gold, silver and bronze trophies were awarded to campaigns from across the region in 14 different categories, some of which were separated out dependent on run-time.
In the Direction Up to and Including 60-seconds category, Hyundai's Little Angels [above] picked up gold, while in the 61-seconds to Three minutes category it was Toyota's An Unbreakable Bond that won the top accolade.
Thai Airways' Stay Home Miles Exchange won gold in the Concept category and Flybuys' Give a Flybuys did the same in Copywriting.
Elsewhere, in Animation 2D, Genea's Where Babies Come From [below] took the gold and, in Sound Design, Aware Super's Breathe did the same.
Other categories include Cinematography, Production & Styling, Casting, Use of Music and Charity, and all of this year's winners can be found on our dedicated Slate page.
We would like to thank all of our jury members, a list of which is here, for their dedicated involvement in this year's shots Awards Asia Pacific, and congratulations to every one of our 2021 winners.
