Wednesday saw London’s renowned Curzon Soho cinema transformed into a glittering who’s who of adland folk clamouring to see the handful of unsigned and up-and-coming directors chosen to be screening at the Source Creative ‘Presents’ London selection.

Curated from the talent picked for the site’s Scout database, the evening saw the audience entertained by kung-fu kiddies, carnivorous dinosaurs and over-zealous social media lovers. Highlights included Xavier Reye’s stunning meditation on cancer ‘Quand C'est’, Steve Kirby’s hilarious ‘If The Cuckoo Don't Crow’ and Chris Ullens’ anarchic, cheer-inducing, Trump squishing triumph ‘Kill It 4 The Kids’.

The evening also offered the crowd an opportunity to network, share in festive cheer and chat about their favourite works. In the words of the APA president Steve Davies, “Jamie and the team at Source Creative continue to pull off the great challenge of finding exciting  work that is genuinely new to the audience”.
