SourceEcreative Makes the Scene at ADFEST 2012

SourceEcreative Supports Asian Creative at ADFEST

Delegates from Asia, Europe and the States gather in Pattaya to
celebrate the best in Asian advertising creativity. 
 

Delegates sipped on SourceEcreative's branded fruit juice, among other things, during the 3-day event in Thailand.

SourceEcreative was on hand in Pattaya this week, handing out fruit juice and other creative elixirs to the delegates at the 2012 ADFEST "Made in Asia" Festival. (Check out our photo gallery below for scenes from the event.)  

James Straker, Managing Director of our London office, was in attendance, along with Lee Michael, Sales Director for Asia / Pacific, and Nicki Masterson, our Global Business Development Director.  SourceEcreative was a Silver Sponsor of ADFEST 2012.
 
Among the big agency winners was Dentsu, which was named Agency of the Year.  In the Film Craft Lotus awards, the Gold for Direction went to a spot from Addict Films in Seoul, South Korea, part of "The True Origins of Pizza" campaign for Mr Pizza.  (Addict's John Park, Founder and Director, was on the Film Craft Jury, headed up by The Sweet Shop MD George Mackenzie.)
 
The commendation in the New Director category went to Fab Four Director Keisuki Hakomori from Tokyo for "Time Spent Together."  The Fab Four was a competition for young directors who had to submit scripts illustrating the ADFEST 2012 theme of "Fast Forward."  The Film Craft jury selected four scripts for full production, then judged the resulting films.  Other contestants in the Fab Four competition this year included Humaun Kabir Manik from Dhaka, Bangladesh; Hasib Hasan Chowdhury, Assistant Director of Bottomline Productions, also in Dhaka; and Filmgraphic's Ariel Martin from Sydney.
