Station Film’s Managing Partner Stephen Orent made the announcement.
New York and L.A.-based Station Film has signed a new partnership deal with Academy Films, London.  As part of the agreement, Station will represent Academy’s directors in the US for commercials and digital content, while Academy will represent Station’s directors in London.

The move means that Station is now offering highly acclaimed visualists such as the multi award-winning Jonathan Glazer, Si & Ad, Seb Edwards, Frederic Planchon, Walter Stern, Nick Gordon, Tony Barry, Kim Gehrig and Conkerco to its stateside agencies and clients.

“Academy has always set the bar high, producing some of Londonulls most stunning and critically acclaimed work,” says Stephen Orent, Station Film’s Managing Partner. “Being able to compliment Academy's incredible visualists with Stationulls award-winning comedy and performance directors makes for an incredible partnership.”

“We’re excited to offer our clients such a phenomenal collective of talent,” adds Michael Di Girolamo, Station Film’s Partner/EP.

Says Lizie Gower, Managing Director at Academy Films, “This is an exciting collaboration for both production houses. Stationulls line up of great comedy and performance directors meshes perfectly with our roster and allow us to offer an even greater breadth and depth of talent at Academy. And we’re confident that Station’s drive and vision will be hugely beneficial to our directors' success over in the USA.”

Both companies have produced a long list of talked-about, award-winning spots.  Most recently, Station Film director Harold Einstein won a Gold Lion for his Axe spot, “Clean Your Balls,” while Academy’s Jonathan Glazer shot the first stereoscopic 3D spot for Sony’s new line of 3D TVs.
