straight 8, the Super 8mm film competition, has announced Warner Chappell Production Music as a sponsor.

They come onboard as the deadline for the straight 8 Shootout competition extends its entry deadline to March 25.

This Shootout, the theme for which is Nature, pits advertising, film and TV companies against each other in a bid to create the best two-and-a-half minute Super 8mm film which is shot on just one roll of Super 8 with no retakes and no post production, and then submit an original soundtrack ‘blind’. 

Companies already signed up to this edition of Shootout include, among others, Dog Eat DogIris WorldwideGroundglassPitch & SyncThomas Thomas and VCCP. The competition is limited to 20 companies and, at the time of writing, only 10 places remain.
