Production companies are finding their production assistants through the nonprofit group Vets2Set.org, which signs up U.S. veterans all over the United States.
This newly founded organization celebrates its official launch on November 6, with support from Al Roker Entertainment and Matt Miller of the AICP.
Samsung Electronics of America is hosting the invitation-only event at their New York headquarters with additional sponsorship from Comcast NBC Universal.
