In a heartstring-tugging spot from DDB New Zealand and Sweetshop, Vodafone are showcasing the potential of their imminent 5G network by telling us the story of an elderly man and his sick dog.
In Huxley, we see the gent care for his pup, see his family care for him and, simultaneously, see a trendy fella in Japan seemingly go about his normal day.
We won't say much more for risk of spoiling the surprise, but suffice to say that the delightful tale, matched with Mark Albiston's sensitive direction, puts emotion before electronics in sharing its message.
