It may not be particle physics but Michel Gondry's video for Björk has a string theory all of it's own. Declare Independence sees Iceland's finest scream out strings of energy to a hypnotised audience who feed it back to bassist Mark Bell. The action takes place in what can only be described as a giant post-industrial punk loom as the inimitable pairing of Gondry and Björk get together for the seventh time to weave their audiovisual magic.
