Inspired by the most desirable item on a girls shopping list: her handbag- 2008 sees adidas release a range of apparel and footwear specifically for young women, which is appropriately called Handbags for Feet. By applying the design principles of high-end fashion accessories across a variety of products the resulting range is a fresh and unexpected blend of styles.

Embodying this spirit, the film revolves around a trendy young girl from Berlin called Amelie. Still a student, she is inquisitive and open to inspiration wherever it may come from. Her interests include languages, photography and DJ-ing with her two sisters.

Amelie's creative and carefree attitude is expressed through her antique camera. Shot with a stylish and sophisticated 'French New Wave' influence, the film documents a day in her life as she notices things around her that most people miss.

As soon as she wakes up, she starts taking snapshots of faces found on every conceivable surface around her house and eventually the city. Her energy and enthusiasm influence the pace of the film as she realizes that the more she looks, the more she finds. During her journey she meets her boyfriend, hangs out with friends and ends back at her apartment as she sticks the pictures she's taken to the bedroom wall.

She proudly takes in her large collection of faces, excited that tomorrow she might find inspiration in something else…
