If you watch Steve Baker's new shortfilm, Dog with Electric Collar, youmight get the impression that man'sbest friend has fallen out of favourwith the Australian animator anddirector. In it a small dog battleswith a collar that zaps him wheneverhe makes a noise. 'I love dogs!Seriously!' exclaims Baker in selfdefence.'In fact I'm an animallover in general. But this film endedup taking such a long time to makethat I went a little crazy, so Ipurposefully left one rather violentscene in at the end. Call it therapy!'
