Ty Montague leaves Wieden + Kennedy NY; John Jay returns to Weiden + Kennedy Portland; Simon Cracknell signs to Another Film Company; new exec producer and director at Love; and more...

Ty Montague, co-creative director of Wieden + Kennedy in New York, has resigned from the agency. Montague was unavailable for comment at the time of going to press, but rumour has it that he will be joining JWT as creative chief.

John Jay has returned to Wieden + Kennedy Portland as a member of the global management team. For the last six years Jay has lead Wieden + Kennedy Tokyo and has worked on award-winning ad campaigns for Nike, Sapporo, Uniqlo and many other Japanese clients. He will now partner Dan Wieden and Dave Luhr to provide stategic and creative vision to the agency's global network. He will help manage the agency's global business, with a specific focus on Asia, and will also serve as executive creative director in Portland and share creative duties with Dan Wieden.

In Tokyo, Jay will be replaced by Hiroshi Yonemura, who will partner creative director Sumiko Sato and managing director Arto Hampartsoumian. In other Wieden + Kennedy news, Daniel Lim has been appointed creative director for the agency's Shanghai office. Lim was most recently executive creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi in Beijing.

Director Simon Cracknell has signed to Another Film Company in London for commercials representation. Formerly repped by Large, Cracknell has shot spots for Loot, Vauxhall and Sainsbury's amongst others, and most recently directed a promo for Placebo."I've known Tim and Steve for a while and have always admired their attitude to the industry," said Cracknell of the move. "So joining Another is a really exciting opportunity for me."

Love in London has signed new director Fraser Jamieson for commercials and music videos. Jamieson is currently completing his first commercial for Carmen Girls hair appliances. Also at Love, Juliet Pearson, formerly a producer at McCann Erickson and Leo Burnett amongst others, has joined the production company as executive producer. Pearson will work alongside David Hay at the company. Love has also recently moved offices, and is now at London House, 9a Margaret Street, London< W1W 8RJ. Toby Abbott has joined One in London as head of production. Abbott joins the post company from blue, where he has spent six years as head of production. Recent credits include Ariel for Saatchi & Saatchi, Western Union for Leo Burnett; Standard Life for The Leith Agency, and the forthcoming Sky One series, Hex.

Northern Lights Post in New York has added comedy/lifestyle editor John Laskas to its roster of editors. Laskas joins the company from boutique ad agency The Concept Farm.
