New signings at Tool of North America, Social Club and Fried Okra Entertainment; and more...

Harry Cocciolo, former executive creative director for See in San Francisco, has signed to Tool of North America for directing work. Alongside See, Cocciolo has also worked in the creative departments at Leagas Delaney and Goodby Silverstein & Partners and his creative work has won awards at D&AD, Cannes Lions, the Clios and the One Show. Cocciolo's first spot as a director is for the San Francisco Zoological Society through BBDO West.

"As a company, we've had the pleasure of a long, close relationship with Harry, and we have profound respect for him as an immensely talented creative," Tool's MD Phillip Detchmendy commented on the signing. "Directing is the next step in his career and we're incredibly excited that he's doing it at Tool."

Production company Social Club in Stockholm has signed Robert Nylund to its roster. Nylund previously worked at Social Club as a directors assistant on spots for clients including PlayStation and VW. He is currently prepping on a job for Swedish ad agency King.

Director Ernie Mosteller has returned to the roster at Fried Okra Entertainment, the production company based in Fort Lauderdale in Florida that he founded in 2001. Mosteller was most recently repped by Tag Team in LA, who continue to rep him for West Coast projects. He continues to be repped on the East Coast by Pangea in New York.

Guru animation studio in Toronto has hired three reps to cover the US: Jim Deloye of The Candy Store in the Midwest, Ron Soodalter for the East Coast, and Yvette Lubinsky on the West Coast. Hesty Leibtag will rep Guru in Toronto.
