Tim O'Kennedy has joined Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam as managing director, replacing David Miller who left the agency last month. O'Kennedy is a Wieden + Kennedy veteran, having originally joined W+K Portland in 1988. From there he went on to work as international marketing director for Nike in Amsterdam and to co-found brand consultancy Circus. Most recently he has spent the last four months back at W+K Portland managing the agency's Electronic Arts business. He will begin his new role in early July and will arrive in the Netherlands officially on August 1.
Farrokh Madon, previously deputy creative director at M&C Saatchi in Singapore before leaving alongside creative director Terrence Tan in March, has joined BBDO in Singapore as creative director. Tan is now creative director at DDB Singapore.
Independent in London has signed directing collective Minivegas to its directors roster. Minivegas have just completed a promo for Bloc Party's Pioneers and are preparing to shoot the new video for the Cribs. Their work can be viewed online at http://www.minivegas.co.uk.

Great Guns in London has two new signings: Rebecca Blake and Lawrence Jacomelli. Jacomelli joins after being spotted by Great Guns' Laura Gregory for his self-financed viral Precious for Pot Noodle. He has recently completed a spot for Persil for JWT London and has been shortlisted at this year's shots/cfp-e Young Directors Awards.

Photomag Sound & Image, PostWorks New York's post boutique, has hired Bill Ivie as general manager and mixer, Billy Gardner as mixer and sound designer, Stephen Ostrow as account executive, and Andy Rando as executive producer.
Steve Blamer will join Foote Cone & Belding in New York next week as chief executive. Blamer announced that he would join FCB in December last year but has been on gardening leave since then while finishing his contract at Grey Global Group, where he was CEO of Grey North America.
