Fallon New York to close; new signings at Believe Media, All Films, Number9dream; and more...
Fallon Worldwide has announced that it is closing its New York office after Anne Bologna and Ari Merkin, president and executive creative director respectively at the New York agency, decided to leave to create their own start-up. All employees will be offered positions in the Minneapolis office and Bologna and Merkin are facilitating the changes before announcing details of their new venture.
Believe Media in the US has signed director Albert Kodagolian to its roster. Believe will rep Kodagolian worldwide apart from Europe, where he is represented by Joy/RSA in London.
All Films in London has signed Marlon Griffin for UK representation. Griffin, who has directed spots for BBC, Orange, Nike and Coca-Cola, is also repped by Czar in The Netherlands.
Number9dream in London has signed new director David Palmer for commercials representation. Palmer, who started out as conceptual designer before turning to directing, recently made the shortlist at the cfp-e/shots Young Directors Awards with an anti-smoking commercial.
Director Adam Smith has parted company with Colonel Blimp, Blink and Furlined. He will announce new representation soon. In the meantime, Smith is featured as a new director in the next issue of shots (#90), out in August, where his new music video for North of Ping Pong will be shown.
