Sheila Stepanek is Partizan's new CEO in America following the buy-out of Steve Dickstein's interest by Partizan. Partizan US has also signed the highly regarded Melanie McEvoy as East Coast head of sales/executive producer.
Renowned stills photographer Elaine Constantine has signed to Outsider in London for commercials representation. Constantine was previously featured on shots with her short films and ad for Japanese clothing line Parco (shots #71).
Henry Alex Rubin has signed to Smuggler in the US for commercials representation. Rubin directed the documentary Murderball, about a group of quadriplegic rugby players.
Intro in London has signed director Zanna for commercials and music video representation. As well as directing videos for Simply Red, The Pretenders and Bryan Ferry, Zanna is well-known for her fashion stills work for brands including Liberty, Sonia Rykiel, and Cacharel.
Director Peter Truckel has signed to Mad Cow Films in London. Truckel joins from Big Bang Productions, the company he founded in 1992 with his producer Jane Gershfield but which recently closed after Gershfield started a new career in teaching. Truckel has already shot spots for Churchill Insurance and McDonald's through Mad Cow and is confirmed on a spot for Kinder to be shot in September.
Fallon Minneapolis executive creative director Bruce Bildsten has resigned from the company. In his seven years at the Minneapolis agency Bildsten produced award-winning work for Porsche, Timex, PBS, and, most significantly, BMW, his films for the latter winning the first Titanium Lion at Cannes in 2003. It is unconfirmed at this stage where Bildsten is moving to and who will replace him at Fallon.
PPGH/JWT in Amsterdam has hired DDB creative team Nico Akkerman and Bart Kooij. The team join Peter Clercx, Stephan Propper and Lion Versloot as creative directors at the agency.
Following last week's news report about new Prague production service company Starlite Productions, shots.net would like to clarify that Partnership Pictures has not closed in the city, and continues to provide full production services for commericals, features, TV and music videos. There is no association between Partnership and Starlite.
