Moves this week at Stink, Academy, Independent, Mustard, blue, Brickyard FX, JWT Sydney, @radical.media Berlin, Bermuda Shorts, Fever Films, Rhinofx and Saville and a correction in respect of Mike Reihana

Stink has signed Lionel Goldstein for UK representation. The directing duo, who are signed to Czar in the US, Belgium and Holland, and were formerly with Blink, most recently worked on Nike/Finish Line that featured on shots 91, and are finishing two spots for Dutch telecoms firm Proximus.

Academy films have signed directors Tim Royes and Seb Edwards, from RSA/Blackdog and Home Corp respectively. Royes come to Academy from RSA/Blackdog, where he worked on music videos for a host of big names including Richard Ashcroft, Skin, Will Young, Lemar, So Solid, Emma Bunton and Holly Valance, which won an MTV award in 2002, as well as commercials for Laura Biagiotti's fragrance, the BBC and tests for Puma, Rimmel, DKNY and Roberto Cavalli. Edwards picked up the top prize in last year's cfp-e/Shots Young Directors Awards for Sony Playstation Time Crisis 3, and has since worked on Total, BBC Coast and more recently the Welsh Tourist Board for Wieden + Kennedy London.

Independent has signed director Luke Forsyth from SmallFamilyBusiness. Forsyth's first commercial through KesselsKramer won him a place on the Saatchi's New Director's Showcase, since then his campaigns for Got Milk!, BBC Radio 2, and Carling, have won him recognition in the Kinsale New Directors Awards and the BTAA New Directors category.

Mustard Films has announced four new signings. Director Jonny Campbell is best known for the award winning dramas Phonenix Nights and Shameless, Aaron Stoller honed his directing talent at MTV, creating & directing a number of award winning spots including the If MTV Were... campaign with Randy Krallman. The two other new faces at Mustard are senior producer Lucy Hayes and Tanya Hempenstall who comes in as head of sales.

blue has added to its management team with new head of business development, Rachael Dudley. Rachael brings 14 years' broadcast experience to the blue team, most recently she spent 18 months at Editworks as general manager.

Brickyard VFX today announced the launch of a CG division, extending the company's on-site visual effects capabilities to include character modeling, animation and rendering in full 3D. The move conincides with the hiring of Jay Lichtman, Yafei Wu, who come from Glassworks in London, where they were Head of Production and Senior 3D respectively, and Robert Sethi who was formerly lead character animator at features and effects house Double Negative.

JWT Sydney have hired Kate as their new general manager, and Mick Hunter as creative director. Hunter moves from WhybinTBWA where he was formerly also creative director.

Moritz Merkel has joined @radical.media Berlin as a producer. Merkel has worked on both sides of the business, with stints in senior production roles at top German agencies including Kolle Rebbe in Hamburg, where he was head of production, and in the same role at Jung von Matt.

Bermuda Shorts have signed new directing team Model Robot. The directors have worked on commercials for artists including the Scissor Sisters and Doves and promos for Alfie and the Kaiserchiefs.

Tornoto based Fever Films has signed Australian director Glenn Fowler for Canadian representation. Joining Fever as an in-house affiliate will be The Artists Company, with executive producer Peter Grech operating from the Fever office. The Artists Company is a collective of international commercial and music video directors, with offices in New York and Los Angeles. Joining Fever Films for exclusive representation in Canada will be Spooner/French, Jim Sonzero, Mathew Brady, Rachel Harms, Michael Cuesta, David Cameron, Skip D'Amico, Guillaume, and David Ramser.

New York based Rhinofx has added technical directors Vadim Turchin and Jasmine Katatikarn, modeler/texturer Brian DiNoto, and Compositor Nitant Karnik to its roster.

Saville Productions in Los Angeles has signed director Patricia Murphy for exclusive commercial representation. Murphy had been with Tony Kaye Films for four years before starting her own company, Patricia Murphy Films.

Correction - In last week's news shots.net reported that Mike Reihana had joined Curious Pictures- the article should have said that Reihana has joined New Zealand production company Prodigy Films. Apologies to all concerned for the mix-up.
