Moves this week at Euro RSCG UK, Smuggler, M-A-D-E, Paul Weiland Films, Story, 2am, Chemistry, Modernista!, Motion Theory, blue and Incubator

Kate Robertson has been taken on as chairman of Euro RSCG UK. Robertson will work with global CEO David Jones to promote growth of the agency's client base. The move follows the recent appointment of Mark Cadman and Russ Lidstone as chief executive and chief strategic officer respectively. Robertson was formerly executive vice president of the agency and headed up the Reckitt Benckiser account (which she will continue to run) as well as running Euro RSCG Fuel's London office.

Randy Krallman, who featured on the shots New Directors reel last year, has signed to Smuggler. Krallman, who was formerly with HSI Films, shot to prominence after lensing a brace of spots for MTV that saw him also grace the Saatchi's New Director's showcase last year. Since then he has shot for among others Boost, Coca Cola and ESPN.

M-A-D-E films has signed fashion photographer Jim Lee for commercials representation. Lee started out shooting for top fashion houses including Yves St. Laurent, Versace and Valentino for magazines including Vogue, Elle and Harpers. He then set up his own production company in the 80s working for clients including British Airways, and shot his first feature, Losing Track. Eye For Images, a retrospective of his fashion photography work, is currently showing in London and he has just been selected, along with Nick Knight, David Bailey and Rankin, for the fashion section of the permanent collection at the V&A.

Paul Weiland Films has signed director Joanna Bailey. Bailey was previously repped by Serious Pictures and has shot for brands including Abbey National, DVLA, BBC Summer, COI, Nike, BT and Royal Navy. The company has also taken on former Leagas Delaney head of TV Matthew Jones as a producer.

Director Scott McCullough has joined Story for US representation. McCullough, whose work includes spots for Ford, EA Sports, Budweiser and NAPA Auto Parts, has been directing for more than ten years and was repped from 2001 by BeachHouse films in Santa Monica.

2am Films has signed director James Hawes for commercials. Hawes is best known for directing the episode that saw the return of Doctor Who to the BBC, and recently finished The Chatterley Affair, a drama charting the obscenity trial of DH Lawrence's novel, which will air on BBC4 on March 20th.

New York-based editorial collaborative Chemistry has taken on editor Hannah Neufeld. Neufeld comes to the company from wild(child) Editorial, where she spent the last five years and worked on spots for a variety of brands including 3M with Grey Worldwide, Absolut with McCann, and Old Navy Hispanic and Heineken Hispanic with The Vidal Partnership.

Boston-based agency Modernista! has hired agency creative manager Kelly Fredrickson as chief of staff. Prior to joining Modernista! Fredrickson spent seven years in a similar position with Hill / Holliday, most recently as executive vice president and creative manager.

Los Angeles-based production company Motion Theory has expanded its in-house production team with the addition of Scott Gemmell as head of production. Gemmell, who previously produced spots for Honda, McDonald's and Nike at companies such as @radical.media, Directors Bureau, Rockfight and HKM, will oversee all live-action commercial and music video projects for Motion Theory's in-house directors. Most recently, Gemmell produced Motion Theory's live-action campaigns for HP, EA Sports, and Lenovo ThinkPad, as well as the company's music videos for Beck and Velvet Revolver.

blue, part of the VTR Group, has appointed of a new head of production, Alan Cronin. He comes to blue from TSI, where he was most recently senior producer for 11 years. Cronin's experience lies mainly in broadcast programming, having worked across a number of high-profile Talkback, Tiger Aspect and HBO productions.

Incubator has hired East Coast independent reps Peter Ziegler and Jonathan Jakubowicz of Ziegler Management for representation in that market. Toni Saarinen and Jennifer Spencer of Saarinen/Spencer handle West Coast duties, while Marguerite Juliusson of Marguerite Juliusson & Company covers the Midwest.
