Moves this week at Passion, Big Mama, Uncle, Nobody, Bacon, Wanted, VTR, Union, Troika

Passion Pictures has signed directors Carl Zitelmann and Natasha Rand. Zitelmann's computer animated graduation film Temerario has been shown at film festivals worldwide. Australian-born Rand trained in Design and Visual Communication at the University of Technology, in Sydney, and has worked at a number of leading design companies including Garner Maclennan Design (Sydney), Imaginary Forces and Creo Collective, in Los Angeles.

Finnish director Mikko Lehtinen has signed to recently formed New York production company Big Mama for the US, South American, Spanish and Portuguese markets. Lehtinen moves from @radical.media where he shot for clients such as Sprint, Volkswagen, Ikea, Nestle, Land Rover, GTE, Virgin Mobile and Regaine among others.

Director Suse Uhlenbrock has joined Los Angeles based Uncle for exclusive worldwide representation. Uhlenbrock trained as a fine artist and photographer before transferring to the moving image and has shot for clients including Coca-Cola, Amazon.com, and MasterCard, among others. She continues to be repped by Hanrahan for the UK.

Director Ben Dawkins has just been signed for representation across foreign markets by Nobody in Paris and The Garden in Canada. Dawkins is signed to Love in the UK and has shot ads for Orange, PlayStation2 and most recently Lemsip and promos for Nick Cave and Bloc Party.

Bacon Films has hired the former head of Rats, the Polish and Japanese production company, Christian Zethner, as an executive producer. Bacon recently signed shots featured director Martin De Thurah for commercials and music videos for the Danish market and moved to new premises in Copenhagen.

Wanted Films has signed director Matt Follows for commercial representation. Follows started his career as a copywriter at agencies including M&C Saatchi and Wieden + Kennedy during which time he wrote campaigns for top brands Nike, British Airways, Honda, Heineken, Coca Cola and EA Games, winning along the way a host of awards including gold and silver at Cannes for British Airways and a D&AD Pencil for Nike. Follows left agency life in 2003 to focus on directing and screenwriting. Having already written and directed a short film, an internet viral for Runner's Need which was a Cannes and Viral Awards Finalist, and an extreme sports documentary at Wieden and Kennedy, Matt signed to 2am films as a writer/director for commercials, film and television.

Post-production house VTR has hired Amanda Duncan as a producer. Duncan joins after a three-year stint at Tag, where most recently she held the position of producer at Smoke and Mirrors. During her time there she worked with high-profile clients such as Philips, Direct Line and Channel 4's Big Brother.

Dona Richardson has joined Union Editorial as an in-house mixer. Richardson brings ten years of experience to Union, and will be responsible for audio post-production and sound design on the company's commercial projects. She was previously a mixer at Santa Monica's AudioBanks.

Los Angeles based Troika Design Group has hired Dale Everett as creative director. Everett had previously worked in a freelance capacity as a creative director and supervising producer with Troika, and before that was in the same role at Philadelphia based production company Concrete Pictures. His first project since coming on board with Troika was a promo for HGTV that aired in April.
