JWT announces that Rosemarie Ryan has been promoted to president, North America, while Ty Montague takes on the role of co-president and CCO of JWT North America.

Avion Films in Toronto signs two new directors; award-winning director Shyam Madiraju only recently debuted and has since garnered several awards. Past work includes a collaboration between The Ritz-Carlton, American Express, and Team One. Director Kinka Usher also joins - having been in the business for over 15 years, he's shot for Nissan, Pepsi, HBO and Nike, and also directed feature films Mystery Men and Hip, Edgy, Sexy, Cool.

Hibbert Ralph Animation (HRA) welcomes animator George Bowler to their team. Bowler has already secured a commission for a short film with Nokia. His past work includes graphics, 3D work and stop-frame animation.

Oursin Films, based in Paris and the Middle East, sign French director Fred Garson, whose past clients include Samsung and Rimmel.

Spain-based SCPF hires Mauricio Alarcón as executive creative director, to join current ECD David Caballero. Ecuadorian-born Alarcón was mostly recently at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where he worked on Burger King, Nike and Coke Zero. His CV also includes stints at JWT Barcelona, Villarrosás Barcelona and Vinzius Young & Rubicam

Wieden+Kennedy appoints creative directors Hal Curtis and Tyler Whisnand as co-directors of the agency's in-house experimental ad school W+K12 - the pair will continue their roles on Coca-Cola and Nike respectively.

Mintz & Hoke of Avon, Connecticut, welcomes aboard Trevor Dobrowsky as an art director. He will work on accounts including Quinnipiac University, Pratt & Whitney, Praxair, Rockwell Collins, the CT Department of Health and Addiction Services

Executive producer Casey Steele signs with creative studio Hush in New York. Formally working with G4TV, Steele's CV includes past work with Nike, Burger King, HBO and Compaq.

Domenic Rom moves up in PostWorks and is promoted from COO to SVP/general manager of post production Services. Rom's involvement with PostWorks The Lab has led to many high-profile campaigns for television, film and commercial projects.

Toth Brand Imaging hires Micah Whitson as a senior designer. Prior to this, Whitson was interactive art director at Worldwide in Boston, and worked on the American Legacy Foundation's Truth campaign and Procter & Gamble's Tag account.

Suspect announces the addition of Keith McCabe to their staff as their new visual effects director. McCabe's past work many major VFX studios has led to a powerful CV, including work on feature films such as Titanic, The X-Files and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Nikki Weiss & Co is welcomed by Rhinofx to provide representation across the Midwestern United States. Rhinofx is a visual effects, design and animation studio that provides VFX for feature films, television and video games.
