Avery joins Cherub

Director Julius Avery has been recruited onto the roster of award-winning production house Cherub Pictures. Avery is known for his strong performance direction and has been previously signed to Renegade Films (Melbourne). In 2008 Avery's short film Jerrycan won the Jury Prize at the 61st cannes Film Festival aswell as an AFI award for best short fiction and the Australian Directors Guild award for best direction.
