Legendary director Sir Ridley Scott has selected the best short film in the Philips Cinema Parallel Lines Contest. The winning piece, Porcelain Unicorn, directed by American Keegan Wilcox, is a sensitive and moving tale of how a traumatic wartime encounter inspires a man in later life. The film beat over 600 entries from around the world which were all required to use the same six-line dialogue as the Cannes Lions award-winning Parallel Lines short films. Also announced was the People's Choice winner, Baby Time by Cédric Petitcollin, which can be seen at the link below.
